Happy Thanksgiving!

We do turkey three times a year so I’m always looking forward to the holidays especially when it involves the “big bird”.  And every time we do turkey, well, I only know how to do turkey the way my mom raised us.  Its pretty simple really, 3 ingredients, butter, salt and pepper.  I insert the butter in between the skin and the breast meat to keep it moist and then spread it all over the outside of the bird to add flavour.  Along with the main meat, homemade stuffing and all the fixings: mashed potatoes, carrots, corn, brussell sprouts and broccoli.  And for dessert, my mom’s apple pie of course!  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
