Hot Out of the Oven…

Some of my girlfriends and I take turns every few months to host a wine and cheese, its an excuse for us to all get together to drink wine and try some interesting cheeses.  This time, its my turn!  So this Thursday, I will be welcoming 5 other ladies to my abode……and in preparation of this dinner party, some homemade buttermilk biscuits – something a little rich and flakey to go along with an assortment of cheeses, prosciutto and red wine.  I’ve been a big fan of Martha Stewart and her Baking Handbook is my bible!  I took the liberty to experiment a bit here and added rosemary to her classic buttermilk biscuit recipe for additional flavour – not bad if I do say so myself!  We’ll see if its a hit on Thursday – I’ll keep you posted!
