London: Roti Chai

For those that know me well, know that I love Indian cuisine!  So when my friend R suggested to have lunch at a new restaurant near her office by Marble Arch tube station called Roti Chai Street Kitchen, I couldn’t wait.  The interior is very modern, furniture with a lot of clean lines and colourful.  Loved the lighting elements on the wall, it reminds me of brail.  R is Sikh so I left the ordering to her!  She ordered a variety of dishes, my favourite was the Papri Chaat!  Such a great marriage of textures with crunchy wheat crisps as a base with whole chickpeas and chunks of potato that is covered with yogurt and a spicy/sweet chutney…..it was so delicious and satisfying!  The perfect prelude to my trip to India in 5 weeks!
