Winterlicious: Luma

Restaurant two on my winterlicious 2013 tour was lunch at Luma.  I’ve been to Luma a few times and what I love about all the Oliver and Bonacini group of restaurants is the consistent quality of the food.  No matter when I go, they never cease to disappoint, including Luma.  And for $20, what a deal!  My favourite course? The braised lamb for my main and the citrus budino!  I discovered the budino last year on my visit to Campagnolo and ever since then, whenever I come across a budino (italian pudding), I order it.  This one had one of my favourite cookies, meringues, so how could I resist!  Although, not one of my dishes, the potato and ricotta lasagna was really good with the parmesan foam – perfect on a cold day.  I would definitely go back!
