Afternoon Tea with the Girlfriends

My first afternoon tea experience ever was at the Four Seasons in Toronto and I’ve compared every subsequent afternoon tea to it.  Since then, I’ve been to London and frankly the British know how to do tea – however, the options in Toronto are not as vast.  A few weeks ago, my girlfriends and I went back to the Four Seasons for afternoon tea and with the exception of the atmosphere, it really disappointed 🙁   The petit fours were dry and not very unique/innovative and if you can believe it, we were charged an additional $3 per additional finger sandwich (one key difference between North America and the UK).  Nonetheless, the afternoon was great catching up with the ladies!
